Panorama prepared a Major Special Use Permit (MSUP) application for submittal to Churchill County, NV, for a 20-MW solar plant that would provide station load power to two geothermal projects. The MSUP application was completed on a fast-track schedule (within 3 weeks) so as to not delay the project construction. Panorama also coordinated with Churchill County to determine MSUP requirements with Naval Air Station Fallon regarding impacts to their operations. The MSUP application required defining construction traffic impacts, water use, and glare impacts for the solar project. Panorama was chosen to perform this work as we had previously, successfully permitted the Patua Geothermal Project development, including the well field and two power plants.
